Should I have another contest to figure out how to submit artwork?? lol... I generally am a trustworthy person - even if someone deleted everyone's artwork, I could have them all backed up and reupload them? Unless I guess if that person were to reset the password - dickweed... ok what do we do??

Printing it out and then putting my gear on it and taking a photo - I think... I'm no professional at any of this - so we'll see how it goes down!!

OK - so let me give a few 'ideas' of what I'm looking for....
1) I love the color of all of the entries so far... I think the more colorful the better!
2) I think there should be a dedicated area where I can 'put' my gear - I had a question about how I'm going to do this, so I think I'll work with whoever the winner is to get the best results. If it means that I need to take a high-res pic of my gear and send it to the artist to incorporate it into the art, then that can be done. The best part about this is - we can do whatever we want! I'm willing to work with the winning artist to insure that there is no detail lost and we maximize the overall use of the art.
3) I think it needs to be a square - right? What I would suggest is to click on the Silk Road logo in the top left corner and then when all of the images pop up - see which one catches your eye first and then see why. They are all pretty much squares but if your image is TOO big, then it gets cut off and I don't want that to happen.
4) Remember, it doesn't have to be original art - per say. It could be an image of someone or something that has been taken from something else and used to help solicit this product - so if you have skills in cutting/pasting, get in on this action.
5) Although we will have a public vote - the final decision will be made by me. (I might have to give 1/2g to the vote winner and then I'll give a 1/2g to the person I win if its different) But if there's one I can't live without and it doesn't 'win' the vote - I don't care, I'm going with the one I want - that's how I roll.

This has inspired me to getting some more ink...
I wanna get N4L in a tattoo and I want to incorporate a night time scene, with a full moon that's being covered up by an ominous cloud moving over it...
somehow, someway using the whitespace or the blackspace to put in the N4L (N4L has other meaning to me too)...

I just want to get more. I have a bet with myself that if my college basketball team gets into the Final Four, I'm getting their logo tatt'd on my calf (I think my calf)...
Both of my tats are black and white - so I thought it'd be cool to keep it going with a nighttime scene where a full moon is being taken over by a ominous cloud, but its all at night time. I want to find a great picture of what I'm talking about and then figure out someway to put it on me to where it doesn't just look like a picture is randomly tattooed on me.
ALSO! I want to figure out how to make animated gifs, because I want to do a cool one with my name - it will have 6 parts - it will start by saying NOD (at the top) then a 4 (BIG, in the center) and then LESS at the bottom -- then it clears -- then it starts at the bottom LESS, then 4, then NOD then it clears --- and that repeats -- I want the 4 to be like Neon looking - maybe like pink or purple and then NOD & LESS be like black letters, big block letters... That'd be cool....

Not necessarily starting a sleeve - I am trying to keep my tats as hidden as possible under like a t-shirt, but I do want to go mostly black and white (with the exception of my university logo, which has some color)...
I need to "come across" a copy of Photoshop somehow... I'd like to say my piracy days have been over for some time, but I may have to come out of retirement for that one..

I could get a copy of Photoshop to you rather easily. You certainly don't want to buy it. And yeah. Animated GIFs are super easy to make.

Think about it like this; most everyone sees vendors list with white pics on a white SR theme... the dark shit is great contrast and really stands out.
Black / white, whatever, your stuff will look great, don't worry!

This image really captures the feeling, I think. Just looking at that picture seriously makes me want to do some bth, even without the bth image imposed.
I liked some of the other images too, but none of them really have "feeling" or relate to the item at hand, they're just designs/colours (and f4ust doesn't even have an appropriate space for your gear to be placed).. If you take a close-up of your dope on a white piece of paper, upload it and paste it in the "gear here" section I think it would look great.

I noticed Nod4less put up listing today but no winning image...
Since there was only 1 vote difference between 1st and 3rd - I think i'm going to run a final vote for just the top 3 images - plus I need a little more time - Ijjust got my shipment in today and it's been over a week since I've been able to sell, so I need to get some revenue going before I can hand out some free gear.
Does anyone know if it's possible or how to run images in the threads? Can I use HTML code within the thread? It's probably not possible, but figured I'd ask just in case. Thanks!!

I was just asking because I'd heard nothing and I was SUPER happy because I thought I won. The re-vote seems kind of unfair to me. I did win, not by much but I just feel as though I am being pushed aside. I'm trying to keep my emotions out of it because I can get rather upset over small things but I did feel the need to express how I felt about the situation.
Now, I'm not trying to be a bitch or mean to anyone else and I am not angry or upset with you Nod. It just kind of feels like you weren't happy with the results of the vote so you are going to restart it to try for the results you want. I understand needing more time before giving away anything free but as I expressed earlier, this feels unfair. It was a really close contest and from the way you made it sound earlier in THIS thread, you would be willing to give away some stuff to the "person who wins this vote as well as the person whose art you choose" (I'm paraphrasing).
I'll just cross my fingers and hope I win again, I suppose. Like I said, I am trying to come at this as unemotional as possible while still expressing my hurt over this. Also, I am not upset with N4L or anyone else.

I totally understand your frustration - to give you an idea of my thinking - I thought there would be way more votes than 4 for the 'winner' - I think if you had won by a substantial margin, there would be no need, but I think there were like 20 votes total and 4 only represents 20% of the total vote; however, 4+3+3 = 10 which is 50% of the vote which is a much better representation (4+3+3 = the top 3 vote getters) -- this way, if we get 20 voters this time - you'll need at least 35% of the vote to win - the closer to a majority the better.

Also, to increase votes, I think it'd be easier if I could just post the pictures within the thread - maybe what I'll do is combine all 3 onto one jpeg, so people only have to download one thing to see all 3 images - make it easier for someone to vote (less time consuming).
